Upcoming Academy Hour: The Future of Myopia Registries – The CO-MY Study
We are pleased to announce an upcoming webinar featuring Hozan Zebari, optometrist at Radboudumc and PhD candidate at Erasmus MC in the Netherlands.
Hozan combines clinical expertise in myopia treatment with scientific research focused on improving long-term myopia care. After completing her degree in Optometry, she pursued a Master’s in Management, Policy Analysis, and Entrepreneurship in Health & Life Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her doctoral research centers on the CO-MY Study (Control-Myopia).
The CO-MY Study is a longitudinal, real-world, web-based registry that collects both retrospective and prospective data on myopia treatments from multiple eye care centers across the Netherlands. By leveraging real-world data, the study aims to better understand treatment outcomes and support more personalized, evidence-based myopia management.
In this session, Hozan will present the latest advancements in myopia treatments, share key insights from the CO-MY Study, and discuss how real-world registries can be used to improve the quality, personalization, and implementation of myopia care in everyday clinical practice.
